Snus

Commercial sale and import of (tobacco) snus are banned under the EU TPD. Personal-use import is tolerated; buying online is prohibited.
Nicotine Pouches

Legal basis: Danish regulation on nicotine and tobacco products (in force 1 July 2025)
Tobacco-free nicotine pouches ("white snus") are legal for adults 18+ but tightly regulated. From 1 July 2025 nicotine is capped at 9 mg/pouch and only tobacco and menthol flavours are permitted, with full implementation by April 2026. Non-compliant products may be seized at customs.
Cigarettes

Cigarettes are legal for adults 18+, regulated under Danish tobacco law implementing the EU TPD.
Vape / E-cigarettes

Nicotine e-cigarettes are legal for adults 18+ but flavours are restricted to tobacco and menthol; nicotine capped at 20 mg/ml. The 1 July 2025 regulation tightens flavour rules.
Heated Tobacco (IQOS)

Legal basis: Danish tobacco legislation; EU TPD 2014/40/EU
Heated tobacco products are legal to market in Denmark to adults 18+, subject to flavour restrictions (tobacco/menthol) under the 2025 regulation.
Personal Import
Personal-use tolerated; online purchase banned.
Products outside the 9 mg/flavour limits are illegal and may be seized.
